As owner of Burr Ridge Lighting for over a quarter of a century, you could say lighting runs through my veins. I have explored other interests but found my way back to the industry. My husband and I share the responsibilities of overseeing our two companies, as well as our kids! We cover an array of styles here, like and dislike, but when it comes down to it I really just love the experience of furnishing whole houses. I enjoy providing my clients with everything from chandeliers to vanity strips, dimmers to bulbs. I don't have a particular vendor I like the most, I follow the direction of my client to satisfy their needs but my taste tends to lean more towards the traditional/transitional.

I may be young but being involved in our family business for the past 10 years has given me a lot of experience; especially with undercabinet and rail lighting. Modern and clean would probably best describe my personal style. I dream of living in a Frank Lloyd Wright inspired home filled with Hubbardton Forge Lighting but I also love to work with Hinkley, Artcraft, Feiss and Tech Lighting. Keeping up with technology and design trends is important, but finding things that last for years is key.

I have been in the lighting business for over 15 years and enjoy selling more traditional/transitional light fixtures that look like fine art. Through my experience, Framburg has become one of my favorite companies to work with because they are local and can create or customize for any situation. I also frequently work with Line Voltage track systems and fan set ups. I truly believe you get what you pay for in this business and hope to provide the best service to my clients possible.

I have been part of the Burr Ridge Lighting family for 8 years working part-time. My house was only a block away from the old store but horse shows kept me from spending more time there. Currently, I am the purchasing agent for our store but I help on the sales floor when I'm needed. Their clean lines and quality make Hubbardton Forge one of my favorite companies but I also enjoy Kichler for being a good go to catalog and quick with shipping.

I started out as a kid working stock and display at a local lighting showroom, which is where I got hooked! Here I am, more than 25 years later and I still love it! I have a great appreciation for design, from traditional to urban contemporary. One thing that I always find to be true is... no matter how your space is decorated, the lighting is like the Icing on the Cake! We have a number how high quality manufacturers that I truly appreciate but I have to admit, I have a soft spot for Hubbardton Forge. I find their socially responsible approach to doing business inspiring. If you are on a quest... I love a challenge! That's what keeps it all so interesting.

When not keeping busy receiving and processing our clients' special orders, one might find me maintaining stock, answering technical questions, assembling new fixtures to display in our showroom or even ordering parts when someone would prefer to fix rather than replace. With over 10 years experience doing just that, there's also almost nothing in residential lighting I can't repair. Folks call me our resident Lamp Medic. If you need anything repaired, just come visit me at the store!

I've been in sales for over 30 years. Working at Burr Ridge Lighting has been such a wonderful experience. I'm so happy to be part of a team that works hard but still has a good time. I tend to like more tradtional/transitional styles but really just want to please my client more than anything. Artcraft, Hudson Valley, and Hinkley are just a few of my favorite lines to work with. I believe shopping for lighting should be a fun task and hope my clients feel the same when they work with me.
